Admission Information

Preferred entry requirements:
3 years secondary education with passes in School Certificate Maths and English or NCEA equivalent.

Applicants must be a minimum of 17 years of age by the programme start date.

Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 5.5.

Northland Polytechnic Certificate in Catering Services

Graduates may also gain credits towards one or more of the following national qualifications:

National Certificate in Hospitality (Introductory Cookery) (Level 2)
National Certificate in Hospitality (Food and Beverage Service) (Level 2)
National Certificate in Hospitality (Basic Cookery) (Level 3)

Students are eligible to sit the City and Guilds Certificate in Food Preparation and Cooking
