The compulsory section focuses on the organisational and technical skills required for casino surveillance at the supervisory level. The elective section allows flexibility for the candidate to build up a portfolio of relevant skills, including human development, law and security, as well as higher level casino surveillance management skills.
Special Notes
To be admitted to a programme preparing for this Certificate the candidate must complete the National Certificate in Casino Surveillance (Level 4) [Ref: 0406] or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills. To qualify to work in casino surveillance a person must hold a Certificate of Approval issued by the Department of Internal Affairs.
