The National Certificate in Casino Surveillance (Level 4) is for people who intend to work in a casino as a surveillance operator.

The compulsory section ensures people awarded with this qualification are able to identify fraudulent practices and cheating in a casino, operate a casino surveillance system, carry out special surveillance, provide customer service experiences, and are familiar with the casino management procedures. The elective section allows the candidate flexibility in gaining skills in workplace co-operation and communication, law and security, as well as visitor services. People who hold this certificate may proceed to the National Certificate in Casino Surveillance (Supervisor) (Level 5) [Ref: 0407].
Special Notes
To be permitted to work as a casino surveillance operator one must hold a Certificate of Approval issued by the Department of Internal Affairs.
