It recognises the skills and knowledge required to carry out generic supervisory tasks, manage casino security, develop, plan, and maintain casino event security, and investigate incidents in a casino.
Special Notes
Holders of this qualification will also have completed the National Certificate in Casino Security (Level 3) [Ref: 0404] or have demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills.
To qualify to work in Casino Security, a person must hold a Certificate of Approval issued by the Department of Internal Affairs.
To undertake standard 9912 people must meet the minimum age requirement for entry into a casino.
