In today’s market employers are flooded by CVs and prefer to use Crown to help find the best candidate. Our students are spending their holidays in free career workshops focusing on networking skills, interview preparation and handling employment expectations.
Summer is fast approaching and some students are combining their travel certificates with food and beverage qualifications so they have extra transferable skills. The travel industry suggests that some basic hospitality skills are essential when wanting to work on cruise ships, in hotels, airlines and as tour guides.
Crown offers Diplomas in Business, Tourism and Hospitality Management. The students range from people changing career direction or people returning to the workforce to students entering it for the first time. If you have a lot of practical experience and want to learn the theory, or if you’re interested in upskilling then these courses are for you. International students successfully completing a Diploma can apply for a one year working visa.
Crown's courses are NZQA registered and approved for UTTA funding by the Ministry of Education. Crown is recognised as a quality leader by the New Zealand government, gaining a three year audit cycle from NZQA, the highest ranking achievable by a private institution.
